    ianwigley your not to old.

I am 31 and took up boxing this year. I am never going to be a pro or amateur. but I train as hard as the boxers at the gym and spar with them. I have the unique ability to keep punching no matter how tired I am and I stamina is good. The younger boxers love it because I may not be a skilled but I can defend myself well and push them hard. So I see it as a win win, I get fitter than I have ever been I am learning new skills and I am helping them to become better boxers.
Your never to old, Give it a go
