are you kidding me man. ur sayin if a fighter has great power, there is no point in conditioning urself unless u jus want to look good??

bro, no offense, but im thinkin this sport isnt for u my man. maybe gold would suit u better. u can have a great swing and still be fat and out of shape. thats kinda wut ur sayin here. u can be strong and know how to punch, but u dont have to be in shape. u see how this is beyond ******ed, yes?

you know how big guys (300 pounds +) get into bar fights and knock people out no problem so its not ******ed, now imagine the power in some body that fights at lightweight maybe welterweight thats how i was seeing it

Even if your going all out to knock someone out in 2 rounds. You need conditioning. Or if your just going to stand there and hope for one punch to win it your going to get out boxed every fight.

Also weights dont really equate to punching power.

dude this is real life man. bar fights are bar fights. this is boxing, not street fights. ur makin urself sound like an idiot dude comparin a big dude knockin someone out in a bar fight which lasts 12 seconds, to a trained fighter knocking another TRAINED fighter out without being conditioned. think wut ur sayin. get into a gym and fight a guy who u outweight by 30 pounds and he'll tax ur ass and make u look straight foolish. this is ****ing boxing man, it aint easy, and there nothin easy about it, NOTHING. if u dont train, u dont win, PERIOD!

In my opinion I punch considerably hard in both hands, but my main focus in training is my conditioning. I gotta have that stamina, its a must. If you have the mindset that you're going to knockout a guy in the first or second and you dont do it.You could get tired mentally, which converts to physically. You'll think " Why cant I knock this ****er out?" As you're throwing shots all over the place.

Seems to me no matter what people are telling you on here your still trying to back your theory up. So how about you go to a gym try it out see how fast you get landed on your ass. Then come back and ask for some real advise? boxing is a whole other world from street fighting.

Its obvious that you've never been to a boxing gym before. Even more so that you've never sparred.

If you talked to my trainer with this kind of mentality he would tell you to get the **** out (those EXACT WORDS), or put you in with someone who'd **** you up just to show you that you ain't goin nowhere unless you work for it in this game.

When and if you do spar against one of these *****s who only condition to their bodys to "look good" (I mean who would even want that anyway?), try swinging haymakers for the first two rounds and give us a little report on your success story okay?
