IT seems like every week i have a good week training is followed by a **** week training where im just tired out my head and it's ****ing me off. is it a good idea to get on a training program cause i never thought it would really work for me but if it will stop me going up and down like a yoyo i think it might be good

has anyone got any ideas or similiar experiences...... im still getting fit and i'm making good progress but it's just ****ing me off when my body just doesn't feel right

I train 2 days on 1 day off. Works well for me. I always feel ready to go again after my rest day.

      mix it up
      do weights one day
      conditioning drills the next
      heavy bag the next
      then take a rest day

I never understood why some guys take boxing so damn serious.

If you have natural skill and athleticism...you'll see it, and you'll see it early. IF you have the true love for the sport...you shouldn't be on a forum asking silly questions like this anyways.

        Just my two cents.

I agree with the "some don't have it statement" I mean, yeah, sure, I feel burnt out every once in a while.. But I get my ass up and spend 4 hours in the gym or search my heart to make sure that the fire is still there and burning strong. I don't come here and whine, looking for sympathy almost. I don't look for sympathy from even my trainers, only critiques. I don't whine about working at Burger King or **** or how I can't stick to a diet. I do. I don't talk about what I can't do.

I'm not trying to be a **** either. But I plan on MAKING it. AS A PRO. BOXER. 'nuff said. Read Smokin' Joe if you all need inspiration.. Don't look for it here. Look for HELPFUL HINTS here. That is what 'here' is here for! HINTS. Not the key to the car, the "secrets" or whatev.

So.. Lace 'em up and get back in there, ya bum.

i don't think your getting me i aint giving up thats for sure and i know i've got it in me. but that don't mean that my body aint gunna get tired does it. i think the stuff your talking about is more mental and a pain tolerence it doesn't mean when im tired i don't train i just don't train as much or as well and feel tired all the time
