Just got to log back on again....
just saw the private message. I find it very hard to believe that 24 rounds can be done everyday and not be overtraining, but maybe it can be done... so i'll take your word for it.
but i was also in a prick mood and called him out... my bad. he did send me info to call so props for that.

Now, is it good? Yes, definitely as Versatile said and for the reasons he mentioned: CONDITIONING, STRENGTH.
Howver, you MUST give your body a rest. Hitting the HB everyday is hard on your body. It can be like being in a fight every single day. The thing is to hit it hard and intense when you DO hit it. Really work it over. Then REST.
If Im your trainer, I wanna know what your goal is with boxing. You may NOT NEED to hit the HB everyday or even 1 day! Just like some guys shouldnt SPAR a lot. Everybody is different and it's up to you and your trainer to find out a INDIVIDUALIZED routine that works for YOU...and not one that maybe works for somebody else (I mean, it's good if someone's routine can work for you but experiment, dont just accept it blindly).

24 rounds is a lot.
But, how many of you have seen Versy hit? I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he works an hour or more per day on the bag.

Well I do the bag that much because my strive is alot higher then others.I might not post it and say it as much on here, but it is. Its either make it in boxing,or go back to college again,or work at a low paying job the rest of my life.
I think boxing,90% of the time in my head. Thats another reason why I have close to 24,000 post, not all in NSB,but I do peep in the threads of them alot, and of course post.

it is a toll on your body to use the hb everyday, no doubt. i think you should up and down the intensity a little bit. maybe spend as much time, but don't go 100% all the time. 80 some, 50 some, etc.. I know I'm SPENT the day after I've gone 25+ rounds of balls to the wall..
