    It all depends on the environment of the Park I guess. Some parks are all just kiddie's. Some parks have alot of adults playing hoops or Football or Soccer.

      Even if there isn't anyone there, they should keep themselves away. Imagine if a lone young mother ventures to the park to keep her little gits entertained for a hour or two, but see's all these half naked men sweating all over the equipment.

      You don't want women being intimidated and making the parks a no go area for the babies.

      Unless... you wanna trade? Allow the kids and mums to **** around in the gym when your there?

      Gym = adults working out
      Park = for the kids to play out.

      And keep it that way.
      excatly its not very reassuring taking your kids to the park and theirs sweaty men all over the equipment.
      Explain why you wouldnt want to work out in a gym

        I hate the gym, unless it is a boxing gym. The gyms have too many grannys and muscleheads for me. They cost too much, they stink, old naked guys stand there and talk to you in the locker room, and I don't like to wait on machines. It does depend on the park though, and no one is gonna be working out half naked, you don't at the gym so you wouldn't at the park. I do all my Integrated Circuit Training and Enhanced Interval Training at the park, mind you, it's at 6:30 am with no kiddies around. Sometimes I do it while I have MY kids at the park and my son and some other young kids do it with me.

          Public parks.. you know...with greenary etc. Thats fine. By all means, go for a run, if its sunny even jump in the lake. But not on the kiddies play equipment!?

          The last thing the city wants is for parents of young children to be like :

          "I'd have taken the kids to the park, but its always full of fellas working out.."

          and even if the blokes are not always there.. if it gets that reputation still, then the amount of kids getting the chance to visit will diminish... and thats not cool.

              It's ok. Just spend a $100 of our tax money and build a pull up bar in non-kid section. We don't want the kids to be hurt. We just want a small piece of the taxes. If they drop thousands of bombs and each costs millions. Is it too bad to ask for a few dollars to be spent on fitness?

                    Some people like to train outside.
                    There are plenty of equipment in the park, as well as space. More than at home.

                      Then build a chin up bar outside. The kids play ground is meant for kids to fool around on, fall off and get concussions not for grown men who have a phobia of the gym or are to cheap to bust out a few bucks to make a chin up bar
