the 12 punch combo - maybe it was just with my trainer who had a specific combo for the punching pads...

there is no "the 12 punch combo" dude. anyone can hit the pads with a 12 punch combo, there isnt only one 12 punch combo in the world. i'm sure ur trainer had jus a good one that he repeatedly did with u.

Myabe it's just an HIIT for boxing. Like I would do(on the mitts) whatever my trainer tells me for 20 seconds and then the next 10 seconds I am just throwing a barrage of punches, then the next 20 seconds I go for a slower pace again.

            But I am not sure.

it was probably just my trainer; i was just hoping someone else did the same thing.
              I remember there was a 5 count, 8 count and 12 count.

              the 5 count was: 1,2, duck, 3, 4
i think the 8 count was: 1,2, hook to body, hook to body, 1 low, 2 low, body, body.

then im pretty sure the 12 count started off with the 5 count, but then was different the rest of the way.

                Different gyms different things.

I first learnt on a system of numbers... like "one shot" was a jab and left hook. "two shot" was a jab, cross left hook. And they got bigger and more complicated.

The gym i'm at now, each punch has a number. So jab is 1, cross is 2. Left hook is 3. and so on... so he might go.. 1,2,1,2 slip, 3.
