He wanted me to fight longer so I know what it's like to be tired when fighting. Experience is one of the most important parts of boxing, so that's another reason. I want to train so I can go more rounds than 4, so I then have more energy in reserve, how is going more rounds than a normal boxing match wrong then? The whole thing was a learning experience and I am glad my trainer is throwing me into the deep end.

I had my second bout of sparring tonight. I ****ing loved it. The guy who was second in the country became first after the guy he was supposed to fight in a couple of weeks dropped out. I sparred him again and landed some pretty good shots, he then got annoyed and started throwing em back I nearly fell over but gritted my teeth and hit him back which knocked him back and got some time to rest a bit and then started landing again.
I also sparred with a 90Kg fighter who had been fighting for nearly a year, he pushed me around like a balloon for a round and I could do nothing, but in the second round I hit him three times in the ribs which knocked the wind out of him and started landing some blows, he then hit me with a jab which he put his whole weight in and knocked my head up straight up. I spent about 3 seconds staring at the ceiling and then my trainer stopped it.
Although I got the **** kicked out of me, I really enjoyed and I can't wait to fight properly.

Sweet dude, how long have you training?
I have been doing my boxing training for two days out of the week for almost two months now.
I believe you sparred for that long, since I have been jab sparring an awful lot lately. Utilizing the jab can be one of the most important aspects of boxing, so we focus on that. I went roughly 17 or 18 rounds at three minutes with a fellow partner one day by jabbing, and just this past tuesday I had my first couple of sparring sessions (full on). I only had two rounds, but I wanted much more. Going multiple rounds is easy if it's what you want.

I did eight round, with three people and surprisingly didn't fall over, but by the 6th round I was tired as **** and could barely punch. Somehow in the 7th and 8th I pulled some power out and started to hit back, suprsing him a bit, then he went a level higher and nearly made me puke. I got out of it tired and beaten, but I enjoyed every moment of it and learned a lot out it.
HMMMMM.......NOPE.
