You must make sure you have good running shoes. When you save the money up make sure you get some. Are your shoes worn out a bit? Check the heel too. The heal area has to be the toughest part of the shoe because it is usually where the foot strikes first. It has to be able to absorb a lot of punishment. If that has softened out it maybe time to get a new pair- you would suprised how often that happens for ppl that run a bit. A good shoe will absorb the heelstrike well so that when your heel hits the ground there is enough support for it flex back however if the shoe is worn away at the heel there will be no cushioning therefore the heel will strike the ground and pretty much sink in which will cause greater shock throughout the body which can cause sore joints, such as knee pain, hips, back pain etc.
Also check the sides of the shoes at the back near the heel, on the outside- Sometimes when the support gives way you may be able to see some crease marks along the sides.
Also you might want to try Radox musle soak. It is like a powder that you put in a warm bath- it has mineral salts in it. It is good for aching musles.
Other than that maybe a chiropractor might be worth a go too.
Good luck with whatever you do
