So back on topic that guy is not the same boxer I will be boxing come my first fight! theres no way in hell im goona have to fight my first fight with a 21 year old pro thats been boxing for 8 years! so simply put I spar him about once a week and the other days i spar taller guys that are within 20-30 pounds my weightLast edited by Golden-Gloves; 06-17-2007, 10:32 PM.

Ive seen it happen where he and other guys go full out and its not preety at all! hes a beast and he will tear everyone at our gym apart in a full out session(thats something you should already know that most decent pros are capable of doing to average beginner-amatuer fighters).
my advice is to spar an already amateur fighter with a decent record, take it if you want, leave it if you dont, you made a post for asking for open advice so I threw some at you, tryin to help you out, no need to get offended

I would also go recommend checking out some amateur fights that are in your weight class, so you know what to expect.. Anyways, hope this helps, Good Luck
