yea i'd like to see some more of ur vids. one other thing i can comment on in these vids, now mind u im no trainer, but wut i see is when u throw certain punches (jab, right) u move back, which is cool, but it looks like u lift ur head up a little as u do it, BIG MISTAKE! next sparrin try and jab and instead of movin back, move to the side and stick a hand in his face so he cant hit u, or u could jab, jab and weave in (esp on a taller dude like he was) and hit 2 , 3 body shots and come upstairs and whatever ur last punch was, circle around to that side, so if u hit wit a left hook, pivot to the left, and then **** ****, if it was a right, circle to the right, and **** ****. when u got him coverin up and off balance, UNLEASH, for only goin for 9 months u look pretty solid imo. keep it up

It was so bad that when someone even threw a jab around my face my head would pop back due to natural human instincs of not wanting to get or moving away from the punch, but i worked on it for a little even since then and im still working on doing it. one drill ive dont alot to fix this problem is whenever i hit the bags i put a tennis ball under my chin and if that tennis ball falls then that means my chin came up and I have to correct that. o and thanks for the circle comment ill make sure i try that next time(i never thought of that) it sounds good im goona try it from now on. o and its 8 months lol not 9
yea the tennis ball thing is a great thing. i use it always, that and there's this thing ringside used to have called the...umm, well i forget, but its a thing u strap on to the bag (with velcro), and it swings around everywhere when ur hittin the bag and its like ur gettin counterpunches its a great training tool for blocking and for ducking. i wish they still made it cuz the one at my gym is about to retire. now that i think about it, u jus need to get a double end bag and jus tie it with a rope around the top of ur heavy bag and it could be a counterpunching buddy everytime the bag is movin. oh man thats good glad i thought of that!!!

He should already have that level of confidence if hes ready to fight, confidence shouldnt even be an issue. Your saying you want to put him in the ring with someone that has no skills an someone that he can beat up? That makes no sense, then he will feel like hes ready, he'll step into the ring with another amateur who has experiance and most likely lose..
If he spars someone with experiance, and he does well against them, he knows hes ready, if he doesnt do so well, he knows his flaws and what he needs to work on, he will know what to expect his first fight..
IMO, in a fight, a goal should never be to build your confidence, it should already be there, if your not confident in yourself, your definately not ready.. The goal should be to be prepared for anything and everything thats a possibility in that ring..
