Yeah it would, you should do no kin dof excerise on your rest days because you want your muscle to be relaxed in order for them to heal

If it's your rest days I wouldn't do anything. just let that muscle rest and grow.

      I do :

      Monday 6:00am (Weight Training)

      Tuesday 6:00 am (Cardio) + 6:00pm (Boxing)

      Wednesday 6:00am (Weight Training)

      Thursday 6:00am (Cardio) + 6:00pm (Boxing)

      Friday 6:00am (Weight Training)

      Saturday (Rest)

      Sunday (Rest)

      That's my week

Hmmm ... Well I run everyday atleast 3 miles for the last month and I've felt great. I do maybe 5-6 or real running days.

But then again I do the 3 every day in like 7:45-8 min-miles so I'm not going all out.

Usually I'd do a mile in about 7 mins flat 6:30 to run a lil faster some days. 6 and above for sprints imitating.

wont doing your cardio on tue and thur mess up your rest time from doing weights?
as of next week the boxing season ends at my club, so my new regime will be,

Mon- gym workout A including weight training

Tue- gym workout B including weight training

          Wed-Rest

Thur- gym workout A including weight training

Fri- gym workout B including weight training

          Sat-Rest

          Sun-Rest

am not sure how i can manage cardio without messing up my rest time

When I do weights I work arms and upper body, sholders, back. I don't think the cardio will mess it up. because it's all running and I am working my legs and lungs.

I don't know if it's right or wrong. It seems to work.
If anyone on here knows if I am doing the right thing or not please let me know.

I seem to be loose weight and gaining muscle so it works

Honestly, it's not gonna kill you, especially if you're in prime shape already. But even if you are in great shape, I probably wouldn't advice anything more than some shadowboxing on your 'rest' day, assuming you work hard enough on the other 6 days.

My week is a lot like DMC's except I only take one day off. It depends on how your body feels and how intense each workout is. I seem to be making good muscle gains too.

try it and see it how it works out. if u feel drained and feel weak, stop, if not, it can only help!
