hello all, i'm new to the forum and am not sure if this has been covered.

As i'm sure many of you know, dorms are not the best environments for healthy eating. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on diet, keeping in mind I have little money for food, no place to cook, and 2 meals a day are provided by the cafe (mostly fried foods or salads). The only "cooking" i can do is blend stuff together and boil water.

all help (or links) are appreciated. thanks!

Hey man I am currently living in a dorm as well. I know exactly what you mean. Its so hard to eat healthy here. I cant wait until I get a house next year so I can start making some good stuff.
I try to eat a salad a day here at the dorms. Either for lunch or dinner, since it is the healthiest thing we have hear. I will eat the fattening and unhealthy food here, but I try to eat it in moderation. If they have fruits, try substituting that instead of an ice cream or some other dessert they usually have. Make sure you try to eat a balanced diet with carbs, protein, and fat.
