Teaching a 5 Year old?

edit: I'm just looking for tips to or websites on stuff i can learn to teach my 5 year old son hes been doing all the basic stuff(jump rope, hit heavy bag, mitts, rope exercise) thanks

you have 1,000 plus posts... you probaly know enough.. everything you have him doing so far is good until he gets old enough for you to bring him to a trainer... Just stick with him on this stuff he's doing right now.. make sure he gets that stamina up...And do mits a lil extra.. can never have too much cordination and accuracy.

Kids that age learn mostly by watching, and only if they are interested.

yeah he likes to watch floyd fight(were mexican lol) so it's cool his power punching on the mitts is great i had to get mitts lol when he started he punched like a girl but he knows how to shift his weight around and yeah i do know quite a bit so im not having a hard time just i dont want to leave anything out ya know.. but anyways thanks for the input his stamina is great he can do 10 3minute rounds on the heavy bag with nice power were suppose to be setting up a doubleended bag for his hand speed and eye and hand coordination but thanks so far ill post a video of his work out.

I can't wait for my daughter to get around 6 or 7 so I can train/play boxing with her. She's only 2 now and likes to hit the mitts. Not with technique or anything she just likes to hit them. I also bought a mini heavy bag that hangs from her bedroom door that she hit's when she walks by. She breaths out when she punches too and goes "shh shh". It's funny!

that's tight man my daughter is 1 and likes to hit the mitts too lol when my son does it i have to have 1 hand low for her and 1 for my son so she can get in on it too lol and when were out side she goes out side and slaps the bag lol
