  • Best way to recoop after a week of hard training.

What measures should I take during days off to make sure my body is getting back in fighting form? What should I eat? Drink? Any supplements? What care should I be giving my muscles and joints (specifically my lead elbow)? I know this is a lot to ask, but I really appreciate any insight.

    Thanks!

During your days off, rest completely. I mean do all your normal activity, but don't excercise at all. You need to let your body rest. As far as eating, eat healthy: fruits, vegetables, pastas, etc. Drinking: water, fruit juice, etc. As far as supplements, I don't know, but I would just take alot of vitamins. Drink vitamin water or take vitamin pills. For your muscles and joints, just give them a good stretch every now and then and move them around a bit to get the blood circulating and remove the soreness and stiffness. Thats about it. If you got anymore questions just ask.

It all depends on what you work out, and how you work it out. If you work out chest one day, feel free to do anything else the next day even if your chest is dead sore. Make sure to eat a lot of healthy carbs and protein all the time, especially before and after your workout. If you want, you can take buy Glutamine separately and add it into your post-workout protein shake.
