  • Knuckle Pain

Has anyone experienced this? The past few times I've been to the gym my left hand middle finger knuckle starts hurting with this sharp pain during the workout. it feels like the bone is hurting. as i keep punching the bag/mitt it just gets worse and worse until it hurts so much i have to stop. the next few days after it is kind of sore to the touch. i have no clue what it is and i hope it isn't serious. Any ideas? thanks.

hand that long time ago but then i started this using a squeeze ball and it helped alot with my hands and knucks.

but still i got some two red thing near the pinky finger.

you better punch slow and correctly espcailly hooks and uppercut because sometime you could break you hand if you dont position you hand...etc correctly

It's a bone bruise. You have to condition your hands. Buy some "di da jow" from a Chinese store and use it after your workouts....

I have that **** right now as a matter of fact. ****in pain in the ass...both knuckles are bruised up, I could barely hit the heavybag today.

Double wrap your hands or get the gel knuckle guards.

ok thanks for all the responses. I'll try dbl wrap or a trainer recommended putting a sponge under my wraps too. weird thing is came out of no where...been working out hard for 4 months and always felt great. only difference is i started wearing boxing shoes instead of sneakers. who knows maybe my form is getting better and im punching harder?? haha i wish

no reason to worry bud. it happens to everyone. it is most likely from landing a power punch at an odd angle.
