Personal Opinion - De La Hoya. He's a good all-around boxer. He's not the best at slipping, or moving, or anything, really, but he can put fundamentals together like no other. As much as I hate to say it, Floyd has good technique as well. Either one of those guys are good to watch.

I would recommend, if you're just beginning, to find a fighter who has a similar build and size to you -- or who has a build you realistically think you would have after a few years of boxing -- and who, ideally, uses the same dominant hand and stance, and most importantly, a fighter whose style you like. Me, I like Shavers and Dempsey. No one else seems to, but that's OK with me: this way, I know that not so many people will be copying out of the same playbook as me.

I haven't seen his amateur fights so I wouldn't know lol. Plus I'm a southpaw but I feel my right hook is much more quicker and stronger then my left, so if I were to use his style it might be a bit complicated even though I'm pretty sure I could pull it off with practise. What's your opinion?
