What I felt in the fight was joey outstanding jabs it was fast and stiff from rd 1 to rd 10 unfortunately what we saw in joey sparring he change up some things in the fight but it was ok cause I had to change a lil of my game plan so in the middle rounds I had to figure out how and what I was going to have to do to win the fight and during the 7th round a shot to the body slowed him down and at that point in time I was able to figure out what needed to be done to win the fight. Joey rios can be a promising prospect in the 40 division.
What's good Frankie? Yo, call out Dmitriy Salita LOL, that fight would be crazy.

But gato somehow found a way to get around Rios's jab, and rios has a great jab. there moments in the fight where gato seemed very frustrated as Rios was just nailing him with that jab at will

but he figured out a way to get around it and easily won the last few rounds because rios's jab was ineffective. I was impressed at how well he changed his gameplan midfight.

And i kinda feel that Gato could go down to 135, and fit in better because of his size. He could be like Hatton at 135, just outmuscling his opponents
Gato is small for 140, he should be at 135.

and then he had him hurt again, even worse then the first time, in one of the last few rounds. ANd he stunned a couple times throughout, but only really hurt him twice

Props to my main dude Frankie Figueroa, this is a huge victory for him last night. I called him right after the fight, and he told me some funny stuff. I asked him if Rios was more difficult than he thought, and he said that he talks alot of **** but that he wasn't crazy, he knew Rios was going to be a tough fight. LOL, cuz for awhile I thought he was a little crazy.

He didn't know who his next opponent was going to be, and he also said he had him hurt a few times in there, atleast 2 times. Good **** man, good ****.
yea that was a very entertaining fight. i took a ten second clip of the fight if u want it. or did u go???

I thought Figueroa got a gift, but it was a very close fight.

Rios won his rounds very clearly, and Figueroa won his rounds very closely, so i guess from a fan stand point it seemed like RIOS won. but id have to rewatch the fight.

And it was funny. Each fighter had there own little chearing squads (the stadium was practically empty when the fight happened though) of 20-30 people.

And inbetween rounds, these crowds, on basically opposite sides of the arena, would have like these "cheering wars" for lack of a better word. funny stuff.
