He was a decent heavyweight. I liked his fights he went all out for a KO. A very hard left hook.

It was more of a straight left.

Corrie retired because of back problems. He's 40, and in nearly 4 years he's barely fought 12 rounds. Its probably better he stays retired.

yea,,but with the champions being as weak as they are,,,he could still win a title. I'd favor wlad in a rematch becuase you know he'd tie corrie up and just shoot the jab from the outside and wait for him to tire,,but sanders would destroy the other guys

Sanders was someone who was a part time fighter and also very injury prone those things are what slowed him down from great succes...

I dont know about that. I definitely think he can beat Maskaev and probably would. Thats about it.

This is going to further the myth of Corrie Sanders, which I must admit, even I bought all little at one time. The only real credible win he has was against an untested, unprepared suspect chin Wladimir, which for all we know could've been a fluke. Thats is what people are judging his "greatness" on. Other than that, he hasnt done **** to warrant what some of the people think about him.

Sanders probably signed up for a fight just to show off to his new Fancy golf friends.

greatness is hardly the word for him. he has little stamina and bad defense,,,its just those quick combinations from the southpaw stance. I said the same thing after he destroyed al cole in the first round which was well before he fought wlad. the same cole who took kirk johnson and rahman and witherspoon the distance. he's a nightmare in the first 3 rounds for anyone. if you survive those 3 rounds he's a dead man walking but those 3 rounds would be hell for all the champs

I dont think that he's great, which is why i put it in parentheses. I shouldn't have used the word anyway, because I know that wasn't what you were saying but some people on this site go overboard with him.
