Margarito the Hypocrite?

Most of those guys just came up recently. And they really only called him out after Margarito became big after he called out floyd with bucket loads of cash which Floyd rejected and fought weaker opponents for much less money.

Secondly Margarito will defend his title against William but WIlliams wants too much money anyone whos been following this knows that Margarito and Arums goal is to not be strongarmed in the negotiations table by a nobody like williams so instead they will take the fight to a purse bid (70% to champ and 30% to challenger) since williams is uncooperative in negotiations.

What did clottey prove? who did clottey beat in his last fight huh? and was he impressive in his last fight? ummm nooooooo. Atleast williams beat matty who was a dangerous puncher and undefeated while clottey beat who? and yea margarito beat six head the same six head that was already destroyed by mayorga lol. Margarito doesn't have any marquee wins either. He has some good wins, but nothing so substantial that Williams isn't in his league.

Williams is a deserving undefeated prospect with a lot of acclaim behind him at the moment.

That's even MORE reason he's a better fight than Clottey.

You really need to give it up.

He's a better fight than Clottey any way you look at it.

While since that fight is not coming off next, why is it that Williams is proving himself even more by fighting Jacy Kuhn?????

A) Because Margarito wouldn't fight him

B) It's his 4th fight this year (Margarito has ONE)

C) It was all that was available on three and a half week's notice as they only wanted to showcase him on the Mayweather PPV. Not like anyone would have jumped to fight him on 4 weeks notice.

This is weak, and you're just looking to make an excuse.

Margarito needs important wins on his resume.

Williams is a more important fight that Clottey, AND he's his mandatory.

Saying they both do nothing is not correct, and a cop out.

Williams is a much more significant win than Clottey, and you know it.

It makes no sense to say one fighter isn't a big fight and then fight a lesser opponent.
