If he gives the back of the head in that fashion he should be warned, even if he does get hit.

I don't buy into that non intentional rabbit punches, its not like hitting a low blow that sometimes it happens. I thought all of Peter's rabbit punches were intentional, why the hell did they pay a ref to be there, beats me.

its the same as if James was completely turning his back to him. If he takes legal targets away, leaving only fouling targets to be hit. It is not allowed in the ring. It is not proper for a guy to hit illegall areas but if thats all that they are offering then the fighter turning away is at fault and should be warned first for the infraction.

True, but two wrongs don't make a right.

In a fight you take it, plain and simple.

                    Here we go again!!!!
Look whatever you want to THINK.. the fact is.. Toney got exposed.. he was a great lighter weight boxer.. But the guy just aint Heavyweight material.. Well ok he is fat.. but thats not my point...Y'all want to talk about rabbit punches and bad judging.. BUT what was an ameatuer like Sam Peter EVEN competeing with such a GREAT boxer??? Sam Peter is ****E.. yet he was the one counter punching Toneys Left hooks all night long.. I never seen sam Peter land a straight punch before the Toney fight.. Christ the guy couldn't even beat a VERY AVERAGE Hasim Rahman.. face it folks James Toney is NOT an Elite heavyweight...

Peter is a heavyweight. Toney should not be above cruiserweight. Plus Toney is fat and old. The fact that he still dominated the fight with Peter tells you either how great Toney is or how absolutely terrible Peter is (outside of his big punch). I think it's a combination of both.
