Shame about the injurys,i personally thought that he would still have known too much for Enzo if they met next month,and won by ud.Even if he has been a slight underperformer over the years at world level.
He was a good solid pro though and deserves his respect.

... on SKY Sports a little over half an hour ago Johnny Nelson the 7-year WBO Cruiserweight champ announced his retirement after entering his forties and suffering numerous injuries that kept putting him out of fights.

Though disappointed not to go out on a fight, Nelson said that he wanted to get out while he was still "in love with the game". He cited winning the belt against Carl Thompson as his proudest achievement.
