I think the real fight for Hopkins is a fight with Taylor at 175:

Did Hopkins lose to Taylor because he was cautious about his weight?: having to continue to make 160, at such an age, did it lessen his ability in the stamina department, thus regulating his strength...basically, Bernard couldn't fight the fight he used to be able to when he was younger, or to put it in the words of Larry Merchent "Hopkins used to be a lion hunting his prey, now he is a lion waiting behind the bushes"...when he moved up to 175, he looked fresh, reborn again, didn't have to worry about stamina problems, from not having to drain himself of the proper fluids that his body was so against losing, at that age...he didn't have to fight both the opponent and the scale.
Or was it that Tarver didn't look good from the start...how much of this was Hopkins looking what appeared to be "Fresh", or Tarver being drained from having to lose a high amount of muscle...remind you of another fight
I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor vs Hopkins at 175lbs to see what really happened.
