james toney was the wbc mandatory to fight the winner of maskaev/rahman but now hes fighting peter. after he beats peter he will fight for the WBC title which will be either klitschko or maskaev (if that fight happens first). that would leave the 7 foot freak with a belt, why doesnt lyakovich fight valuev and the winner of that fight the winner of toney/wlad-maskaev to unify ?

trust me, Valuev will be the last to unify his belt with the others, which makes Klitschko-Valuev even more apetizing for all the belts. I'd LOVE that fight.

Wlad is taking the weaker title holder first. It builds up hype for the Liakhovich vs. Wlad PPV next year...

But what happens if Brewster is ready for a rematch? Should he wait in line? Sergei has already promised a rematch and Brewster and Sergei are both King fighters...

I don't know, but if Liakhovich gets through Briggs and then Brewster AGAIN, well that's some pretty damn stiff competition right there and he would definitely have done enough to build to a big PPV fight with Wlad.

I can't wait until Dan Rafael's chat today, where he will probably say "Briggs has flirted with the idea because he's so frustrated with Klitschko, but nothing is finalized, no matter what you read."

And then when it is finalized, he'll "break" the story.
