  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Feels Joshua-Wilder Still Possible in Future - If It Makes Commercial Sense

A fight between heavyweights Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder is still a possibility in the future, according to the British star's promoter, Eddie Hearn. Wilder has been away from the ring since February 2020, when he was stopped in seven rounds by Tyson Fury at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Makes commercial sense? Anything like this type of fight makes sense at this point considering people are actually excited to see the Paul brothers fight. Let's face it, boxing has gone to complete shlt. Morons in these comments "analyzing" Youtubers like they're relevant to the sport or anything in life really. It's embarrassing. More proof that we're watching a generation of complete cvnts bring their boring, cringy culture to the mainstream and Boxingscene swallows it like a big load and says mmmm, thank you. So yes, it makes sense you poof.

Barry Hearn pre. the Ruiz annihilation...(quote).. 'If Joshua doesn't fight Wilder for the next ten years but carries on wining , I'll take that' . He told young Edward after the Ruiz dismantling 'that's boxing ' so obviously is a major influence on young Edward's match making.....Point , they will never let their weak chinned golden goose near that power Wilder has.

Nah. They cooked it to themselves, so let them eat it. No need to help Alfredo and Shirley correct their strategic blunders. Freeze 'em out!

Well we will have to see how Wilder is 1st. He seems mentally retar, I mean mentally shattered. Let's see if he actually comes back and comes back the same as he was, or better.

But since he has lost alot of his fans with his embarrassing mouth and losing his 0 and world title he can dream on with his "it has to be 50-50 baby or no fight" crap. He had ppl waving the big money infront of his face and he walked away, gambled on himself and got taken to the cleaners.

Shelley and Haymon protecting their golden goose from Shelleys client Klitschko at 33 ! fights (more than Fury or AJ ever had) fights ...

“Look, (Wilder) is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things, he could go and Povetkin (the No. 2 contender) in Russia and make $10 million,” Finkel said to the Tuscaloosa News. “It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.”

                  This.

To be fair, most people's chin would die if hit by that...best right hand in the world just now??

LOL here we go. Keep telling yourself it was Joshua who has been ducking. Even Wilder admitted he has had great offers to face AJ and turned them down. It's only a few of his dumbest fans (fans like you) who will even overrule Wilders own words to twist a narrative how you want it to be.

We all know what Barry Hearn has said but it was all about his opinion and he also stated its Eddie's business to run and that Eddie doesn't agree. But every time Barry H is quoted by Wilder fans they tend to leave that bit out.
