Ok, well if the bold is the standard, Crawford has to be the answer, because the era of 3+ division champion is unlikely for everyone else listed due to who's in the divisions now.I mean who looks like they will retire accomplishing the most(who looks like they will end up being hofer over others).(I added Bud in there because he qualifies to me as a prospect at ww still) I mainly tried to include those who are still considered prospects still,Teo Because hes very young & a prodigy
But basically it boils down to,which of them do you see as future greatness, Crawford was halfway tongue in cheek
Teo is not going to look anywhere near as impressive above 147. I don't even think he gets past someone like Vergil Ortiz AT 147.
But Vergil Ortiz's power seems to have hit a cap at 147 and it's doubtful he'll make a lot of noise at 154.
I still say guys like Ennis and Berlanga are drops in the bucket just waiting to be exposed, like DuBWAH and Verdejo.
So yes, I'll stick with Crawford BECAUSE I can see him having limited success and a minor title (WBO/IBO) at 154. Which would make him a 4-division champion. So I find him to have the closest potential of the list.
Other than Crawford...I'm going to put my vote on "The Albanian Bear", Reshat Mati. The guy punches way too nice, he's defensively smart and he has a gimmick about him. He fought THREE times during the pandemic.
I think he's headed for big things.

Bud is basically 34,& if he doesn't get the Pac fight next were looking at at least age 35 before he unifies with Spence if even,& even though he beat Indongo & Gamboa to me Teo already has better wins in Commey & Loma.Especially considering his age to Buds(he has over a decade head start)& I don't see Bud ever fighting at 154(he'd have done it by now imo)Ok, well if the bold is the standard, Crawford has to be the answer, because the era of 3+ division champion is unlikely for everyone else listed due to who's in the divisions now.

Also take into consideration whether you think Bud even wins future matchups at ww esp aged 35 fights vs Spence/Porter/Ugas & it muddies the waters that much more?Last edited by kushking; 02-13-2021, 01:11 AM.Comment

Remember...154 is arguably the weakest division right now.Bud is basically 34,& if he doesn't get past Pac next were looking at at least age 35 before he unifies with Spence if even,& even though he beat Indongo & Gamboa to me Teo already has better wins in Commey & Loma.Especially considering his age to Buds(he has over a decade head start)& I don't see Bud ever fighting at 154(he'd have done it by now imo)

Crawford already said he's considered moving up, the only reason he doesn't is Arum. But when the contract's up he might. He should - two of the champions would be easy pickings (Lara and Teixiera).
I think people have to stop wanting Crawford to fight people at 147. He's made it clear he has no intention of accepting his B-Side status. That means those fights aren't going to happen. Ok, so then go to 154 and cash in your guaranteed WBO, be the A-Side up there.Last edited by Combat Talk Radio; 02-13-2021, 01:42 AM.Comment

I'm aware hes legit unified champ. Hes still a prospect Because of his age, meaning he hasn't peaked yet since hes not yet near his prime. (I consider Benevidez & Fulton prospects too for similar reasons)Comment
