    The World Boxing Council has revealed that their organization received a communication from Gilberto Ramirez's management, who advised them of his withdrawal from a WBC final light heavyweight eliminator with Marcus Browne - which would have had the WBC's interim-title at stake.

      That Sucks! Boxers been doing a lot of talking lately but then not delivering the fights they been talking up when it presents itself

      Likely got a deal with Hearn and DAZN to get himself a shot at Bivol I'm assuming

          Damn! At least Canelo fights often. Zurdo is on the Gary Russell Jr. once a year schedule. Sad to see young fighters waste their prime like this.

              While I normally hate fighters not making the fights and backing out, Im not too mad. First of all I didnt think Browne was worthy it was a waste of time. Secondly Bivol I believe was talking about fighting Zurdo in the summer. So if he pulled out of this eliminator for a shot at one of the top 2 fighters in the division and is going straight into a title fight with Bivol in May June or July, then im good

                what makes you think Gilberto is even competitive with bivol?

                He wouldn't win a round
