And then there's Conor McGregor, whose behavior aligns closely with at least four of the five. Given McGregor's pugilistic ineptitude, why is his name even mentioned in any serious discussion of professional boxing? In fact, it would be sheer flattery to even consider McGregor for bare knuckle fighting. I don't know what the average stay in a psych ward is; however, if it is quadrupled, it might be the perfect prescription for Conor.

He's not delusional, he's just a con artist. He and Mayweather teamed up to scam the public when they fought, and he thought he'd try the same stunt again. The thing is, fans are probably dumb enough by and large to fall for it again. That's why I'm glad that it got derailed this time. Obviously the only reason Teixera is weighing in on this is because he's trying to cash in on it himself.
