Comments Thread For: Hearn: To Bring Joshua-Fury To UK, They'd Have To Take Half What They Could Get

The biggest fight in British boxing history almost certainly will take place outside of the United Kingdom. As representatives for Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua inch closer toward complete agreement on contractual terms for their huge heavyweight title fight, it is becoming increasingly clearer that Fury-Joshua will be held at an undetermined venue in the Middle East. A Joshua-Fury fight would easily attract a capacity crowd of approximately 90,000 to Wembley Stadium in London, but bringing their fight for Fury's WBC championship and Joshua's IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO belts somewhere in the Middle East would make more sense financially.

Who has ever said Hearn doesnt care about money? Don't be an idiot.

The point is, if the fighters want to make the money AJ is used to and Fury might get used to, they have to sell tickets.

I'd still prefer the fight in the UK but I would also like the fight asap...so if it helps being abroad I have no issue with it.

"Joshua avenged his stunning, seventh-round knockout loss to Ruiz by out-boxing him in their 12-round rematch in December 2019 at a makeshift outdoor venue in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia." If that performance was Joshua's idea of avenging a knock-out loss, then riding a hobby horse must be his idea of bronc busting.

The guy is an idiot, he is in the "Lets bash anything hearn" League, there is a number of those posters on here

I mean that fight isn't going to happen in the UK simple, both fighters and everyone involved wants MONEY (Hearn included), you have Fury talking about fighters should be paid more for all they had to go through with training and fighting etc

He really believed they all would take less to stage the fight in the UK? As long as they are in a ring, we would all watch it. This fight isn't happening in the UK and thats the honest, simple logical reality.

Don't be an idiot. I get that and I too want this fight A.S.A.P. like you and like most .I'm saying that no matter what if there was a slight edge in money , pandemic or not then Hearn would line his pockets before even a thought for you or any one else .Hearn is a home or away from where he can squeeze enough out of you. Prime example ...pandemic ... a crap mandatory which no one wanted but had to be, against a old faded average fighter = highest PPV yet and £10m + for Joshua and I'm sure his usual cut .Thought for the fans , which of many are really struggling =zero .Hearns a ****.
