Breadman is correct: “truth..GGG didn’t win the 1st fight (against Canelo)”

I scored it a draw. Canelo’s head/body movement and defensive work on the ropes made GGG look like a fool for most of the fight... He stayed throwing ineffective shots from mid range and never went inside where he really could have hurt Canelo with body work or uppercuts (or gotten timed and hurt himself). That said, Canelo didn’t do enough offensively to win the fight.
G fought much better in the second fight, but so did Canelo...Comment

I can't take anyone seriously who actually thinks Canelo deserved a result in either fight. He got outworked in about half the rounds in each fight, and then the other half or so were competitive rounds. That's about an 8-4 loss all day, which is probably what it should have been in each fight.
I can't imagine the kind of person I would be if I had to try and swear I saw things I didn't see in fights lol. Like who cares. You can always make 'excuses' if you see your guy lose. Say the other guy was better that night. Say it was a bad matchup. Other guy got lucky. Your guy wasn't ready for the weight. Your guy was old.
You don't have to completely fellate the opponent if your guy loses. But to try and act like they won a fight they weren't even close in, I mean it's really really sad to see lol. Some of y'all need help.Comment

I've been saying Canelo won both fights since after the second fight. Second wasn't even close. Breadman and his mailbag are crap.Comment

I disagree with him but I understand the point he's making and think he makes sense.I respect GGG as much as any fighter active. But here is the truth. GGG didn’t win the 1st fight. I thought he did by it wasn’t a great performance. He left food on the table. So Canelo got the benefit of the doubt on the scorecards in swing rounds. In the rematch Canelo stepped to GGG. GGG boxed more carefully and then made a late great historic surge. I thought it was possibly a draw or Canelo victory. I was at a fight party and that was my initial impression and initial impressions count the most...
I respect GGG. I think he’s a HOF. I don’t think he’s an ATG. He has to do more. I think he was ducked by an era of middleweights. But I think he was too careful in the Canelo fights. He was fighting for his legacy and respect and he was a little calculated and it cost him.

"I’m not going to say who won tonight because the victory belongs to Canelo, according to the judges,”
Golovkin said in his dressing room.
"We had a great fight, the one we expected the first time around,” Sanchez said.
“I had it close going into the 12th round. We had good judges, who saw it from different angles. I can’t complain about the decision
Both ggg and Abel had no problem with the score or the judges.Comment
