  • Comments Thread For: Broner: Working Towards My Goals And Dreams No Matter How Hard It May Be

Adrien Broner has turned over a new leaf and is officially in fight mode. It's a storyline that has preceded every ring appearance in recent years, to the point of many in the industry simply tuning out the claim. This time around, however, the former four-division titlist has witnesses to the journey on which he has embarked and has chosen to share with his public.

Good for him but the only reason he's posting that is because he wants attention. Hope he stays out of trouble tho.

So... a lazy ignorant narcissistic bi-polar alcoholic fighter, not having any consistency in the ring. Gee... what's the odds? SMH

Pushing boxing to the side for a moment,

I really hope AB can be a better man and Father. I hope he can learn to truly love himself as he is a good person underneath all that bravado. Dealing with depression, prison and major debts is a strain on ANYBODY.

He’s already won the first round by still been alive!! God bless Adrien and his CHILDREN.

Back to boxing, goes without saying really, but it seems Marcos maidana really did take more than just Broners “0” that night.

Adrien was AMAZING in his lighter days, just wish he would find some CONFIDENCE. He has a solid chin. Funnily enough, almost all his Previous opponents note how strong Broner is and how he does have power.

Would love nothing more than to see him back where he BELONGS. He SHOULD of beaten Porter and he sure as heck should of beaten Mikey Garcia.

After the fight with Manny I swore to never believe a word Broner said. He should of shook manny hand and congratulated him and took that L.

Tried intimidating Jim Gray and failed. This is THE VERY LAST chance Broner should get. His numbers obviously gets him these fights, but with all these young guns grabbing headlines, Adrien is in REAL danger of seriously been forgotten and relegated to “Gatekeeper” status more than EVER!

Yeah, I sure remember those days, imagine how much he must regret all that money he either destroyed or flushed away! His whole “Band Camp” demeanour was something else. Then came that “Walmart” video?! I guess the alcoholism and depression sure would explain this behaviour.

Let’s see if dudes for real or not. But you can’t talk up fights and then throw 6 punches in 12 whole rounds. And somehow think everyone’s rocking with you still!!?

              Correct!

I'll believe this bs when he get in the ring at 140 (or less) with a top 10 fighter - and wins!

For young wannabe boxers, Broner is a poster boy for what not to do, as far as lifestyle goes- the night life, partying, drinking, fighting in the street, getting arrested, lawsuits for beating people up and grabbing butts, getting shot at, eating out strippers. You name it, this guy did it. All this goes against the boxing lifestyle and depletes the fighter, takes a little piece away from them mentally and physically until they're a shell of their former selves.
Now he's trying to come back for money but the love for boxing was gone long ago or he wouldn't have done any of this bs. Don't say because he was young. Say because he was dumb

Sounds about right. I won't go as far as saying I'm done watching him fight (like some have mentioned) but the talking has gotten old.

AB is ALWAYS entertaining and if I had to be honest about my observations....he has the tools to get the job done but he simply sits on his talents. It's almost as though he took it for granted over the years.

I sincerely hope he gets it together this time....wouldn't wanna see him go out like James Kirkland did this past weekend.

AB's views on television will always prove that people still want to see him fight but I want him to actually fight on fight night instead of promoting it and giving us a wild post-fight interview.
