Fernandez extended his glove as a sign of sportsmanship at the start of their 10-round heavyweight fight at Alamodome. The Cuban contender promptly responded by unloading a right hand toward Fernandez's head.

                  Sanchez didn't really impress me in the fight and he hasn't really impressed me the few times I've seen him. He is skilled, appears to have some pop but I feel like there is something missing. Maybe it's his temperament, I'm not sure. I think Hunter, whom they mentioned as a possible opponent, would outbox him. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Bakole.
