Comments Thread For: Van Heerden: I'm a Level Above The Fighters Jaron Ennis Has Fought

It wasn't easy, but Chris Van Heerden finally came to the conclusion, like so many did, that 2020 was going to be a wash for his career, a lost year that hopefully led to something bigger and better in 2021. Even normal would be all right for the South Africa native, who gave up so much to chase a dream in the United States back in 2013.

I will be rooting for Chris, he’s a good man with a strong sense of identity about his South African nationality, he’s a religious man, love that he volunteers to speak to groups of children. Just all around one of boxing’s good guys. No matter what I hope he makes a home at PBC and they get him more fights after this. Barring a violent end that is career ending, he can be a contender for another couple of years and make himself some dough

Wow. Was viewing this as some showcase for Ennis. Chris now has me backing him, just from reading the article! I’d love some sorta shock KO win or something for him, Ennis could bounce back from a loss at this stage of his career, he’s young enough!

Remember when Connor did Chris dirty with sparring footage a while back, he deserved more respect than that.

I'm not the guy who want to broke her dream, but this fight is not for a world title... IBO belt is not a majeur strap
