Getting a heavyweight world title shot against Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury obviously would be Joe Joyce's preference. Those two British stars appear most interested in facing each other, however, which would leave Oleksandr Usyk as the most appealing potential opponent for Joyce. Ukraine's Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) is the mandatory challenger for Joshua's WBO belt, but Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) might vacate that championship to ensure that the Fury fight can happen sometime in 2021.

Unless Usyk conditioning fails miserably in a 12 round fight. I don’t see how joe wins. Understand he’s improved massively since first WSB bout. But hasn’t Usyk?
Would love joe to pull it off, if the fights made for the WBO. I Actually see Joshua fighting Usyk next. Anybody that saw Sky sports live stream yesterday of the workouts will know that. Adam smith and Johnny Nelson did a great job letting us know that Joshua ain’t want fury next. People need to just read between lines sometimes.

Crazily enough, I think Usyk is one of the few people who I think could handle Joyce.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Joyce is a ****ing problem and I'll not be shocked at all if he wins a title in the next 2 years.

Watch the WSB fight again, whilst Usyk did beat him, he did look shaky quite a few times. It would be interesting to see how much Joyce has progressed.

I think Joyce WBO was #2 yesterday press release or something, their website has just been updated. There was some debate he would get the ranking but he did.
