Comments Thread For: Rosado Confident in Freddie Roach's Game Plan To Down Daniel Jacobs

Gabriel Rosado never forgot a phrase that Daniel Jacobs said to him: "you will never see yourself in the ring with me' - implying that his low quality as a boxer would prevent him from one day fighting someone like him. But that day has arrived and the Puerto Rican wants the "Miracle Man" to swallow those words.

Gabe Rosado is all warrior and a decent fighter. Hopkins invested a lot in the young man and Rosado is all heart.

War Rosado though I expect him to lose due to cuts shadow boxing.

I can see this being a good fight and it will show how much Danny has left in his tank. At 1 point I expected Danny Jacob's to take boxing over but he has a problem leaving it all in the ring sometimes.

Gabriel Rosado comes to fight, and win, not just pick up a pay check. He's faced a who's, who of boxing, never turning down an opponent no matter how dangerous they were. This guy is pure heart, guts, and balls. He has at least 6 losses on his record that should have been scored as wins. He has some good wins, and looks to make won last big push to the big of boxing. He's the underdog against Daniel Jacobs, and he probably lose that fight. Yet he still does have a chance of beating Jacobs, because he is tough as nails, and doesn't quit. If Rosado's face holds up, Freddie Roaches plan on how to win this fight, can be successful. If he's able to pull off the upset, he'll get a few more lucrative fights before closing out his career. I don't know that he'll ever get another title shot. for that to happen he have to win few fights against opposition who are favored to beat him going into those fights. Winning one fight in which your the heavy underdog is difficult enough, running off 3 wins of that sort is damn near impossible. Good luck brother Rosado, I for one will be rooting for you in your effort/struggle to succeed.

Joke of a fight. Yeah is a warrior blah blah blah. Not a meaningful fight and doesn’t do nothing for Jacobs. But whatever, every boxer is a warrior these days because they are from “Fili” can talk BS, lose and still be held as a warrior.

Definitely coming for a pay cheque, he wouldn’t win but not because he wouldn’t try, it’s just because he is limited. But can give you rounds and make you look good using his face as a defence.

Your right about that, if he gets stung, or it gets to dicey for him in the fight. Then he tends to become hesitant, unsure, and a bit reluctant. Losing rounds in the the process, and eventually the fights that are recorded as losses on his record.
