A very good opponent better than ggg for canelo is dog whistling saying smith is an easier opponent better odds for clear cut win or better style for canelo so easier fight Cause if being literal your saying if smith is better than ggg and a good opponent which would translate to canelo bout to get whoopee cause ggg vs canelo is 1-1 even in most peoples eyes and the 2nd was closer than the first which is saying a whole lot so since thats the case smith should whoop canelo if take chavez words literal. I think plant would be more challenging for canelo than smith

I disagree with Plant being more difficult than Smith. Smith has way more physical advantages than Plant. Bigger, Stronger, much much more power and a better schooled fighter imo. Plant doesn’t impress me very much as a world class fighter (very good fighter no doubt, but not on world class level). He doesn’t have the power or the tenacity to get to Canelo and if he gets to close Canelo will end it. The only thing Plant can do is he has good foot movement and pretty good hand speed and combination punches. But he will be totally gunshy because Canelo is arguably the best counterpuncher in boxing. Smith is the best opponent for Canelo at this time. More deserving than anyone at this point. Plant also needs to fight some top dogs (uzcanti was very good fighter) which I see him ducking anyone in top five - he’s trying to talk his way into cash out fight.

Ryder is a good fighter! He’s rated top 10 by Ring magazine and Boxrec and is ranked top 5 by TBRB.
