Comments Thread For: Kell Brook On Terence Crawford: I Believe I Stop Him Or He Quits On His Stool

Kell Brook's bold prediction didn't surprise or offend Terence Crawford. Brook bluntly stated during a virtual press conference Monday that he'll either knock out Crawford on Saturday night or force Crawford to quit on his stool. The undefeated Crawford hasn't even been officially knocked down during his career, has won world titles in three weight classes and is typically listed as one of the top two boxers, pound-for-pound, in the sport.

Damn. He’s just asking for verbal abuse from the fans by suggesting he’ll make Crawford quit

Be interesting to know what weight Kell Brook will be on the night of the fight 'This no re-hydration clause, seems to be a game changer in terms of preparation'.

I don't really like the idea of fighters draining themselves, I prefer the Bernard Hopkins & Floyd Mayweather ideologies. 'But I do understand that, a lot of boxers still drain themselves to make the weight then add back on some weight etc'.

I’m a Brook boy he’s the real deal but I think the result that Kell claims will be has a little bit more reasoning the other way a round. The massive odds on bud are worth a few quid on Kell who will come out warring from the off and Bud will be tested like never before.Bud is my no.1 and I think he’ll rise to the occasion but you would be a complete fool to write off Kell Brook

Except both absolutely drained themselves earlier in their careers.

For the large majority of Floyd Mayweather's career, he did not drain himself to the extent of his other competitors 'Bernard Hopkins also employed the same ideology, this is well documented'.

I would feel better about Kell Brook fighting Jermell Charlo @ 154, then Terence Crawford @ 147! It reminds me of Roy Jones Jr. coming back to 175, after going up to HW. Very hard to do!

Kell Brook has lost only to Spence and even in that fight he was doing ok till 6th round.
Crawford gonna win, but sadly this is his first step up in whole career. Next he must make either Shawn Porter / Danny Garcia / Thurman/ Spence fight.
