One thing I will say is that when you are 40 years plus, dragging yourself through another 8 week training camp a few days after a fight is definatley less than ideal. The body just doesn't recover like it would in your early 30s.

Povetkin body would have felt like utter **** after the last fight, and they were trying to force him to immediately start training again before he would have stopped aching from the first fight.

While I don't think Povetkin has any reason to be scared of Whyte it would be astute of him to find a way to get a few extra weeks of rest before going straight back into camp.
