Comments Thread For: Zhang Zhilei Eyes January Return, Keen For Showdown With Filip Hrgovic

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.-Zhang Zhilei just needed that one fight to shake off any lingering ring rust. Now comes the point when the 6'6" southpaw plans to make his run in the heavyweight division.

He should fight Hrgovic or Martin Bakole in February.

If they get a Zhang-Hrgovic made it'll not only be a good fight, but also a prospect crossroads fight that should put the winner in good stead for a future title shot. It makes the most sense.

Well that should be easy to make? Then again GGG hasn't fought Andrade, and Callum Smith hasn't fought BJ Saunders, so you never know?

I would favor Zhang to beat Hrgovic.

            Hrgovice beats Zhang.

I'd rather see Hrgovic vs Hunter as they both called each other out.

If hrgovic beats the zhang, then I guess Josh v Zhang fight in China is off?

Prospect? Zhang is 37 years old.

Hrgovic won't fight anybody with a pulse until he gets a big fight so this doesn't include Zhang too much risk even though he doesn't seem like anything special either reminds me of Nikolai Valuev 2.0

I really doubt Zhang takes the Hrgovic fight. In my eyes I would favor Hrgovic 80-20 in such a fight.

It took forever for Zhan to arrive, he should be contending 4 years ago. What a waste.
