Comments Thread For: Murat Gassiev: The Main Goal is To Become Heavyweight Champion

Former IBF, WBA cruiserweight world champion Murat Gassiev empathised that his recent ring return, and the very quick knockout victory over Albanian Nuri Seferi, was very important for him. Gassiev made his heavyweight debut this past Saturday night in Sochi and blew away Seferi in the first round.

I like Usyk but I think Gassiev could achieve greater success at heavyweight.

He is built for this weight division, and his fighting style suits it.
He punches hard, has excellent chin and is more economical with his energy and movement.

Best wishes and success to Gassiev in heavyweight division.

Not gonna happen. He looked blown up as a HW.

At CW he looked chiseled and strong.

This crude guy would get sparked by Dubois, Yoka and Hrgovic.

              LMAOOO. Big dreamer.

I doubt Usyk would win a belt. And Glassiev won’t even get close to the IBO belt but he’d be a decent perpetual contender.

I really wonder if Usyk and Gassiev can hang with big guys. Division is hot now.

And now he looks like someone stole his neck and replaced it with a two-inch stump.
