Comments Thread For: Rashidi Ellis Stays Unbeaten, Decisions Alexis Rocha

Rashidi Ellis simply dd what he had to do in order to advance to the next level. A battle of unbeaten welterweight prospects eager to become contenders saw Ellis outbox Alexis Rocha en route to a 12-round unanimous decision win. Judges Chris Migliore and Jerry Cantu scored the contest 116-112 apiece, while Fernando Villareal had it 115-113 for Ellis in a DAZN-streamed clash Friday evening at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California.

Even though he'd eventually get KOd, I feel like Ellis would make Vergil Ortiz look bad for six or seven rounds.

Would be good for Vergil to get in there with a boxer like Ellis in case he faces Boots in the future.

Good job by Ellis, widely expected.

Question is now where do they go with Ellis?

Goldenboy needs to build him up more so his fight against Ortiz means something.

I suppose they will look to put Sam Vargas in with Ellis next possibly.
