Comments Thread For: Devin Haney: Gervonta Davis Definitely Underestimated Gamboa

Devin Haney won't make the same mistake he believes Gervonta Davis committed when Haney faces Yuriorkis Gamboa on November 7. The unbeaten WBC world lightweight champion is a heavy favorite to beat Gamboa, as was Davis. Haney isn't overlooking his 38-year-old opponent, though, which is why Haney thinks the younger, stronger Davis didn't look as good as expected against Gamboa.

If you can't get the KO, you should vacate your belt! Same goes for Crawford! Lol!

So we are criticising Davis because he didn’t get him out sooner? I recall him knocking him down multiple times and forcing a stoppage late?

Real or not: Gervonta Davis will KO Leo Santa Cruz

Cameron Wolfe: Real. Santa Cruz is a live underdog here, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get up early on the scorecards. But once Davis starts landing them paws on him consistently, it'll likely be a wrap. Davis is a much bigger fighter with the best power in either the 130- or 135-pound weight class. Santa Cruz has never been knocked out before as a pro, but he has never faced someone as dangerous as Davis, either. If it goes the distance, the fight leans more toward Santa Cruz. But assuming Davis comes in at 100% and in top shape without the weight cut hurting him, he should knock out Santa Cruz.

Bronx i always respect your boxing opinion. I really like Santa Cruz as a fighter, but Tank should obliterate him. think Tank will make weight and then rehydrate to mid 140ś or 147. He will be the better puncher, the faster fighter as well. Just dont see Leo being able to take those hard shots and counters.

That's not my opinion. That's from an article from ESPN. I would not be surprised if Tank wins, I'm just surprised that the guy (Cameron Wolfe) thinks that Tank has the most power at 130 AND 135! Looking at Teo's video on ESPN, seems he doesn't want that Tank fight! I think he's outgrown 135, and he knows it! Money Talks though!

Sorry didnt read the article well. I still think Tank wins big. I would love for Leo to win in an upset. I think Leo would set up well with Berchelt-Valdez winner either way.

I would love to see Leo against Berchelt-Valdez winner, Berchelt-Valdez loser, and Navarrette at 126 . Crazy action fights.

I have a lot of respect for LSC, just like I do for Mikey Garcia! I can't understand why people are hating on him for challenging Tank? Isn't that what we want fighters to do? The only thing I thought LSC should've done is demand 130lbs., or no fight!
