    Comments Thread For: Mark Heffron-Denzel Bentley Rematch Now For Vacant British Title

    The British Boxing Board of Control have today announced that the rematch between Mark Heffron and Denzel Bentley has been sanctioned for the now vacant British Middleweight title. Previously announced as a final eliminator, the bout was upgraded once Liam Williams chose to vacate his title. Williams will now focus his attention on his position as the mandatory challenger for the WBO title held by Demetrius Andrade.

      Agreed. The Commonwealth title gets totally disrespected in this day & age of alphabet inter bauble's!

        Everyone just goes the international or intercontinental title route these days. They are conning the public with those sort of belts. You get fighters ranked in the top 15 who couldn’t win a domestic title.

        Even guys like Dillian Whyte with 5 PPV’s yet has never even won a European title. Dave Allen on PPV cards, never won a central are title. It’s so diluted now mate...
