What Ingle saying is not implying Brook hasn’t been training for 10 weeks, in an interview Ingle said he had other fighters that already had fights scheduled so he had to prioritise them, which means he wouldn’t have been able to join Kell’s camp until four weeks before the fight and Ingle doesn’t work that way because he actually cooks all the food for fighters and everything, so he said he needs to be there from the start so he knows where the fighter is at.

But he said Brook has been training since about August over in Spain. He just didn’t want to come into Brooks camp a few weeks out of the fight.

Brook has been training pretty much all year and looks in good shape and much lighter than usual between fights, but he has been in proper camp since around August in Spain. He’s heading to USA this week to finish off the rest of the camp.
Assuming what you say is true, someone's going to have to explain these lopsided odds, then. Because a guy that outboxes Gennadiy Golovkin for 4 rounds should not be down significantly on odds against Terence Crawford. 5-to-1 sure, 12? Hell no.

He didn't outbox Golovkin for five rounds lol He won the second round. Maybe the third. That's it.

Probably because Brook hasn’t looked great in recent fights.

That GGG fight was 4 years ago. He had eye surgery after that fight and then after the Spence fight had eye surgery again

And since then he has had three fights and been inactive for a year in between each fight, and not looked great in a couple of them.

So those odds basically a reflection of people thinking he has a faded fighter at 35.

In my opinion if he has one very good performance left in him, then he’s a live dog in the fight because he is extremely strong, good puncher and good timing, but whether that timing is there at 35 and after being so in active is the big question.

Still, he’s only ever lost to GGG at MW where he probably should never have been, and should never dropped straight back down 2 divisions to fight Spence straight after GGG and surgery. so when you look at it like that, it’s not like he’s ever been beaten without good reason or by anybody that’s not an excellent fighter.

In a way, There is no real evidence that he is faded apart from he is 35 and had a couple of lacklustre performances in the past couple of years in fights he probably wasn’t motivated for. It’s not like he’s lost any fights to average fighters.

Crawford looked like crap against Kavaliauskas.

Loma didn't look great in the previous before Lopez and even there it wasn't lopsided odds, either.

Katie Taylor sc****d by her last opponent TWICE and looked like crap, yet still is a 23-to-1 favorite over Miriam Gutierrez who is undefeated and ranked #5 by the Ring.

Jeff Horn looked like crap against Zerafa TWICE, even in winning the second, yet the odds for the Tszyu weren't lopsided.

I'm not saying Brook should be the favorite, I'm saying the MOST I can give on this is a 5-to-1 for Crawford. As noted, it's not like Brook lost to bums or unheralded opposition.

Grabbing one scorecard that proves your point doesn’t prove your point lol. That’s like me posting Julie Lederman’s card as proof that Teo dominated Loma the whole fight. You’d call me out on that and rightfully so.

I gave two different perspectives - a card that had it a Brook win and Floyd who had it even. I personally had Brook winning all four before he got stopped by the corner.

The point is still maintained. Golovkin was outboxed by a welterweight in at least half the fight.

A guy who outboxes GGG in even ONE round should not be at a 12-to-1 deficit over a guy that got wobbled and dropped by a nobody.

My bad. Thought the Floyd video was your sig so I didn’t click it. The point is still maintained. Golovkin was outboxed by a welterweight in at least half the fight.

Well, that fight was what? Five years ago? And two broken eye sockets?

                      12-1 is pretty ridiculous though.
