Comments Thread For: Chisora: Lomachenko Feeds Off The Crowd - Me And Usyk Do Too

I think the crowd helps a fighter understand what people think they're seeing. If a fighter hears oohs-and-ahs after a punch "lands," whether it does or doesn't land, it probably makes him push harder to get that back. I think Loma has only himself to blame for not pushing the pace more, but completely separate of this fight, a crowd can be very beneficial and detrimental to a fighter's psyche. I'm sure both Lopez and Loma would have welcomed crowd feedback - it was a little too lackadaisical for a big fight. It had the noise level of the first fight of an undercard.

I'm not knocking Delboy, we just have a difference of opinion. If I was fighting in a dark alley with nobody looking, I would want to win more than ever. He's looking at it from the lion's point of view. When you're the rabbit and the crowd wants your head, a studio isn't so bad.

this is what i have been saying, the lack of crowd threw him off in the early rounds and he couldnt get into 'fight mode'. with a crowd he would have got going much earlier and won the fight.

I’m confused, so Lopez had a crowd but Loma didn’t? Why didn’t Loma download some crowd noise information before the fight?

I don't like this kind of talk.

'I feed off the crowd' What on earth does that even mean?

As humans, we still have basic survival instincts. When you are involved in a violent situation 'They kick in'.

Chisora beats Usyk. Before everyone jumps in and disagrees, I'm sure a lot of here know I picked Lopez to beat Lomachenko.
