Loma didn’t win round 2. He had a late flurry but he lost most of the round. People giving him round 2 seem to be doing so because of that last 10 seconds. Is that fair?

Round 7 was closer but Loma didn’t do much in that round either.
Yes i was surprised by Ward giving round 2 for Loma. I was split more on round 6, I had Loma winning this round until last 20 seconds or so when Teo threw and landed 3 strong punches.

I don’t see how Loma won anything from 1-6 or round 12.

This I can’t see how anyone has this a draw or Loma winning.

I felt the fight was very close but I had Teo edging it. However, once the cards were announced, there was no doubt who was going to be announced the winner, so no robbery.

Are we still on this? The right guy won, scoring is all about perception and everyone has their own. Loma did absolutely nothing for the first 7 rounds and even some of those other later rounds ( even though I thought Loma won some they were close rounds) were toss ups. Anywhere from 115-113 to 117-111 were good scores 119 -108 was a bit much, but if you had it 118-110 I wouldn't argue much with you, because again, Loma did absolutely nothing.

I had it 7-5 Lopez, nicked it on the last round.

              My scorecard: 116-112 Lopez

Also acceptable: 117-111 Lopez, 118-110 Lopez

Bad scorecards: 119-109 Lopez, 120-108 Lopez, 115-113 Lopez, 114-114, any scorecard with Lomachenko winning
You had the 11th a swing round when it was Loma's clearest round... You didn't watch the fight. Most people gave Loma the 2nd round too. That was a swing round if anything. The 7th was another swing round. The 8th was definitely Loma's.

Round 2 and 6 were questionable. Rounds 1, 3, 4, 5 and 12 were easily for Lopez! So I can see what Andre Ward was seeing, but because Loma fight so shook, I can easily see how one could get to 8-4 also! I feel like Loma lost the fight more than Lopez won the fight, and you know I'm a Lopez fan!

Arum is smoking crack instead of his weed if he thinks those 8-4 & 9-3 cards were off.

11-1 was Julie Lederman smoking crack during the fight.

Yeah I feel Lederman did Loma dirty. It was disrespectful. Did she even open her eyes in the fight? It looked like she pulled out a pre-filled out scorecard. Loma didn't deserve that. I felt he landed all the head snapping punches, and sure, Lopez was definitely more active and sweeped the first half which meant, Loma had to be perfect for the second.

That is always difficult, but at least give the man credit where credit is due. He did show some balls to get in close and land 4-5 punch combinations at close range against a deadly puncher. It just took him too long to get the range and size down. He was having trouble with it and this really costed him the fight.

To the bolder, I get that because Loma didn’t punch for rounds 1-6. I just think maybe it wasn’t so much game plan as it was Teo.

Round 2 only goes to Loma if you use the “ray leonard” late flurry in last few seconds wins a round.

Round 7 was close. Could’ve gone either way.
