Comments Thread For: Alen Babic To Return On Whyte vs. Povetkin II Card

Alen Babic has already been given his next fight date after securing his fifth professional win. The Croatian stopped Niall Kennedy earlier this month to pick up his latest early finish. Babic was in action at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, exclusively live on Sky Sports, as part of the supporting cast to Joshua Buatsi's WBA International light-heavyweight title defence against Marko Calic, when he curtailed the challenge of the 36-year-old Irishman inside three rounds.

Hope he gets matched with someone who can get through the earl onslaught. Really itching to bet against him.

            Hahaha, rock on, Alen Babic!

I could see him make his style work against stronger opposition if he added way more upper body movement Joe Frazier-style (he's very static right now and is open to eat straight shots; maybe pit him against someone like Helenius to test this out?) and perhaps some more springy footwork, Iron Mike-style. I don't know where he'd find a trainer to help him out with that, though; nobody "name" has really employed a style like that in some time.

They could also try matching him with Wach to test him against a really huge guy with a chin.
