Comments Thread For: Jaron Ennis: Bring On Top-5, Top-10 Guys, Title Eliminators In 2021

Jaron Ennis is trying his best to remain patient. The 23-year-old Ennis hopes, however, that a legitimate welterweight contender is willing to fight him next. The powerful, skillful Philadelphia native extended his knockout streak to 16 when he recently became the first fighter to knock out Juan Carlos Abreu, but he seeks greater challenges.

Abdukakhorov can't come to the USA so go after Lipinets or fight Obara , Clayton , Avanesyan beat those 3 and the IBF will give you the title shot

Its hard not to like ennis. The kid is good. He lost a close decision in the amateurs to gary russells younger brother but he's not that same kid anymore. He was standing a little too straight up not moving his head enough in that fight. His attitude is one of wanting to keep improving, which means he'll do just that. He's real young, which is bad news for the current crop. He's only gonna get better. I'm eager to see which of the big names will agree to fight him first

Go after the names in the IBF rankings, they are the most credible source ranking an organizational body in boxing!

Avenesyan might take that fight for the right money. A win for Ennis but it'll move him up the rankings.

Archie I agree 100% with you. I gain more confidence in Boots everytime I see him fight. I also believe he could fight in the top echelon and blend right in as a winner. He's a beast

Shawn Porter will be the litmus test for Ennis.

Jaron Ennis definitely needs to fight the top fighters in the welterweight division. He's amassed a more than respectful record of 26-0 (24KO's), he's ready for the best in his division. His trial by fire will be taking place in 2021, like he said. We'll be waiting for those fights to be made, so that we can watch them.
