Who cares what someone weigh 30 days out

All I need is for you to show up and out on fight night. These guys kill me being 20+ pounds over fight weight then kill there body over time and have short careers, not all but many! Floyd never allowed his body to be like that, stay ready! MF’ers

To be honest it seemed like Haney was having trouble making weight in the past based on what his father had thrown around but 8 lbs a month out is pretty solid seems like he could stay around at 135 for the right fight still need to see him against a top quality opponent though that remains to be seen.

10 lbs - 30 days not too bad for Gamboa. 1 week of weight watchers and he should be fine. Haney looks dangerous in that photo. I'm not sure Gamboa can deal with his youth and speed.

135 to 140 weight classes is going to be epic for the next three years if all the guys would fight each other 🥊

Came in here to post this. Looks like he makes weight pretty comfortably.

Yeah would seem so I just want him to fight a top 10 contender since he is a champion not looking for fights against Gary Russell Jr which his father was so set on or Gamboa who is one of my favorite Cuban fighters in recent times but he is way past his prime and hasn't looked good since the Robinson Castellanos fight with the Roman Martinez fight being the exception but he is another fighter who is a shell of himself.

I really don't think Haney looked that great against Santiago - also was injured in the fight. I know Gamboa is WAY past it, but if it wasn't for the fact there was a damn belt on the line then it isn't that bad (giving a pass on this one fight following injury and surgery).

But again, Haney accepted that belt so people are going to expecting top competition from here on. As far as his weight, yes he could stay here if he can because I don't think he has the length to being going up all that much with this style - I see his measurables are similar to Floyd in length, but I don't see that kind of wireyness in Haney at all
