Comments Thread For: Navarrete: I Understood Magdaleno's Situation, Why He Turned Down Our Fight

Ruben Villa is not the southpaw Emanuel Navarrete would've preferred to fight Friday night. The former WBO junior featherweight champion hoped Jessie Magdaleno would've accepted the bout the WBO ordered for its vacant featherweight title. Magdaleno, also an ex-WBO 122-pound champ, instead turned down a fight versus Navarrete because he wasn't satisfied with promoter Top Rank's financial offer.

The Navarette vs Magdaleno fight is worth more than the bid Bob put forth, I think 500k to 750k even though still low would of been more appropriate for the fight. Unfortunately Bob needs to save his money to pay Crawford his ridiculous contract to fight a bunch of nobody's.

Lol a bunch of nobody’s yet Bud keeps producing the best ratings for ESPN minus Tyson Fury if he’s fighting Wilder!

Navaratte isn’t a star in America yet, he needs to speak English an keep doing what he’s doing!

Bob just doesn’t have it in contract that he pays those smaller guys that huge guarantee like he does Crawford!

At this time, Bob needs to start shopping Crawford to different platforms or networks cuz clearly ESPN isn’t happy with their return on Crawford and Bud is clearly fed up with being fed low level opponents or washed up fighters!

If Bud is fed up, then he needs to stop pricing himself out when a solid opponents comes up. And nobody is talking about paying Navarette millions of dollars but 250k is a slap in the face, Ratings? Loma gets better ratings and Crawford is a proven PPV flop.

          Why do you need Magdaleno?
His soul has already been taken by Dogboe, who you beat to a pulp twice!
Diego is no longer the fighter who trades punches with firmness and confidence.
Dogboe took all of that and made him a running, clinching, boring potshotter.
Dogboe vs Magdaleno rematch would be a better fight for an undercard.

You a got dàmn lie and you know it!

Name a time Bud ever priced himself out?

He’s been more than fair with his opponents when it comes to their pay!

In fact it’s been Bud opposition at PBC who’s been pricing themselves out of the fight!

Pacquiao wanted 20 million vs Bud

Thurman wanted 10 million vs Bud

Spence wanted a split bigger than sharing 50/50 when they both had only 1 title each

And you lied again about Loma’s ratings being better than Crawford’s!

            Get some glasses and reread!
