Comments Thread For: Crawford-Brook: NSAC Approves Request To Stage Fight in Las Vegas

Terence Bud' Crawford is one step closer to returning to Las Vegas. The undefeated pound-for-pound entrant and three-division titlist remains in preparation for a November 14 showdown with England's Kell Brook. A motion to stage the event at an MGM Grand property was unanimously passed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission during its monthly agenda hearing on Wednesday.

Bud 65/35 but should be a decent tussle until Brooks eyes go and or his stamina at 147 .We all know Brook is a light middle, he's been welter from a teenager. That said Bud should be just too slippery and fast ....but you'd be a fool to completely write off Brook.

Bud handles Brook easily, Brook would badly beat up D Garcia, Porter & Thurman, no sweat!!

To me this fight is like an elevated stay busy fight for Crawford. And with Bob running the show you know it could absolutely be worse. I’ll take it for what it’s worth. I’m interested in seeing where they go from here though

I’ve got no problem with this fight given the circumstances and that it’s on regular ESPN.

This would have been a very good fight But I think Brook is too damaged and 147 is too big of a weight cut.

              Hopefully I'm wrong though.

                Typical bum crawford opponent tbh.

He beat Porter by MD in a ugly fight with a lot of holding on both ends he didn't beat anyone badly.

Brook is looking for one last payday that's why he has already mentioned retirement before when he barely turned 34 and never really fought anyone aside from Spence that Golovkin fight was a farce but it ruined him in the end. Crawford should handle him easily and maybe him and Amir Khan can finally fight in the UK before both retiring.

Yeah Brook is toast at this point.
